Farriery has provided Deanna with many exciting opportunities.
As a member of the 2015 and 2016 EasyCare, Inc. Easyboot Elite Teams, Deanna glued shoes on horses at the Tevis Cup 100 mile Endurance Ride in Auburn, CA. EasyCare Inc., received hundreds of applications and only six hoof care professionals were selected to take on the task of gluing shoes on competitors' horses for what would be the hardest race of most riders careers.

In 2014 Deanna traveled to Lagos, Nigeria to work on polo horses and teach farriers and grooms about hoof mapping, trimming, shoeing, and hoof health. Deanna has also traveled throughout the US and Canada to work on horses.

As a graduate of Mission Farrier School, a worldwide recognized farrier school located in Snohomish, Washington, Deanna learned a centered approach to the foot, traditional craftsmanship, and the latest technology of farrier science.

Deanna has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Missouri.

In her free time, Deanna enjoys spending time at home with her horses, Honey and Wiley; goats, Apple Jack and Mable; and dogs, Luna, Cash and Ruby.
